If we've ridden together on Lyft or Uber, the easiest way to make sure you get me again is to favorite me in the app. Here's how on each platform.
1. Open your trip history in the Lyft app and find our ride.2. Tap my profile photo, then tap the heart to add me as a Favorite Driver.3. Or tap "Request Again" on a recent trip — Lyft prioritizes routing the ride to me first when I'm nearby and available. That's it. From then on, every time you open Lyft in my area, the app gives me first crack at your trip.
Uber's version is a little different — it only works for scheduled rides booked through Uber Reserve.1. Book your ride through Uber Reserve at least 30 minutes ahead.2. After the ride, tap "Favorite" on the rating screen.3. For your next Reserve booking, the request comes to me first.Best for airport runs, wedding weekends, and event nights — anything you know you'll need a ride for in advance.
I'm Guy. From this area basically my whole life — currently based near Elkhorn, though the X7 spends most of its weekends down by the lake.By day I run a couple of businesses: a digital marketing agency that works mostly with nonprofits, and a portrait studio in Burlington. Evenings and weekends, I drive. It started as a way to clock real time behind the wheel of a car I love. It's turned into the part of the week I look forward to most. Wedding parties, bachelorette weekends, anniversary dinners, the 6 a.m. airport run for someone catching a flight they've been planning all year — every ride is a small story, and I'm glad to be a quiet part of it.If you've ridden with me before and want to ride with me again, the cards above show you how.
I'm usually behind the wheel or directing rehearsals, so texting reaches me faster than calling. If you do call and miss me, my voicemail comes through to email — leave a quick message and I'll get back to you.
For ride bookings, the Lyft and Uber instructions above are the way to go. I drive on the platforms, not as a private service.
